XL is base level few options
XLT is luxury with carpet and more standard features and more available options
Eddie Bauer is luxury with unique eddie bauer options.

If you could check out some old bronco brochures they have the differences listed on the back options pages.

XLT is the lowest. They have 1/4 ton axles and occasionally catch fire due to the paper thin plastic fuel lines. The rear top was optional, consider yourself lucky if you get one. 4x4 is a rare XLT option as well.

XL is the next best. They actually have 1/2 ton axles and all of them come with tops and 4x4.

Eddie Bauer is the next best. These are the "average" Bronco; they are pretty nice...a few have leather seats, etc.

Then, we have the godly Custom. They are wonderful. The rarest of all broncos, they come with one-ton axles and 460s. Leather seats, premium stereo, 35s stock. They are the ultimate Broncos...good luck finding one...

It is all just the trim package though I really enjoyed hoppers response. XL is base, XLT is nice, and eddie bauer is decked out. I beleive custom is something they put on all ford truck xl and xlt's of the day to make you feel special.

You don't have that rare power rear window do u?

Ok. Well I fell off the truck, but it wasn't yesterday. Anyways, I sort of gathered he was joking after awhile, I was eating dinner thinking about it and was like nah, can't be. But about that power rear window.... no just kidding. Not twice.

I have never heard of these trim lines. As long as I know FORD's, it has always been

1) Custom (Base)
2) XL (better)
3) XLT (best)
4) Eddit Bauer (Bestest)
