TOPPER SLIDING WINDOW SEALS

Just wondering if anyone out there might be in need of seals for the sliding windows in your topper for 78-79 bronco. I have a supplier but I can't order the minimun alone.Any takers??? If I can get 10 people,, they would end up running between 250.00 or 260.00 per set. Brand new,, not old dried out stock. Leave some info @ goddukee@aol.com,, subject BRONCO SEALS

You have a supplier but they only sell in groups of 10? Are these already made or are they specially made to order?

The 10 would make up the minimum order. They would be made to order.

Not many details. They are made to order and I would need 10 folks to makew up the minimum order. It would take 5 to 6 weeks turn around from order to delivery. It took me 5 or 6 weeks to find this place.

Have they made these before? Have you seen any of their work? The problem with a lot of these type parts is that the do not fit just right and for $250 I would be kinda pissed.

Are suppling them with moulding for them to profile from or do they already have the correct tooling to make the profile?

I agree, what are they getting the mold info from? Me personally, I would use a used set from an old topper before I would an aftermarket model.

I agree,, I sent them an old cross section of a seal I had. I found the type rubber used by Ford and sent them that information. They are a windshield gasket maker. And they are not the company that made the ones for the Space Shuttle. It's a national manufacture,, not a small fly by night company.
Also, I'm not someone looking to make a fast buck. If anyone has any questions about me, I am a restorer for the past 20 years. I am a regular user of Ebay and you can check my feedback rating there under goddukee3L72.
I'm just trying to make my Bronco the best it can be with the parts I have. I was floored to find out no one had these seals so I went on a which hunt and happened up on this company.

If I could had found a set from an old topper I would had. Problem was, every set I found was destroyed while trying to take them off.

I don't think anyone came to the assumption you were trying to scam anyone.

You missed my last auction for a set of those on ebay a few months back. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=170189704783
I think I also have another set I'll be throwing up on there in a while to.

I heard from the bonco guy at Dennis Carpenter that they are going to release the slider seals this year. No price was quoted. I'm leary of buying from someone whos work I have not seen. No offence but I've been screwed one to many times. I'm holding out for DC to release their's.
