Armorall.
3M Leather & Vinyl Cleaner / Restorer.

A great resource is here:

http://www.autopia.org/forum/guide-d...detailing.html

The root of the website covers entire car care.

As far as the bezels. Got no idea. If you come across something though post it.

Hope it helps.

I can't think if the name off of the top of my head, but for the lenses, maybe even the bodies you could use that stuff that you can use to clean yellowed lenses. You rub/polish it on the headlights and it helps to get rid of the yellow/milking of the headlights. I bet you could get some at you nearst auto parts store.

May just try soap and water first.

i have heard of guys using toothpaste on teh lenses, but i have never tried it.

I would smooth sand the palstic, and clean it with greeny. then use a vinyul dye to get it back to nice color or your choice.

PS don't worry about steve83, he has forgotten more then most of us here know :} In readign a write up he wrote, sounded like he had one heck of a pain in the a$$ week.

I don't care WHAT forum you're posting in - you ask how to clean a piece of plastic, and you're GONNA get an appropriately sardonic response. Do you need us to tell you how to put gas in it? Or which way to turn the key to make it run?

Both contain MEK (first on my list), and they shouldn't be used on plastics - they'll dissolve most types. Plus, MEK isn't good for your brain. It's sort of like LSD, but instead of seeing God & being inspired to paint soup cans, you'll just forget how to get home.

Considering the number of high school kids running around this joint, I'm surprised we don't have to tell them how to use a bar of soap sometimes. Oh wait, we did.

Oh come on, a little drain bamage never hurt anyone. MEK, toluene, and xylene are hard to beat for cleaning hydrocarbon-based stains from metal. Plus they make my Bronco taste purple.

Hey what are you doing with all those interior lenses anyway? Are you trying to give me a run for my money? Ha Ha.. Steve is just mad because he sold out of them. Maybe if you sell him a few of those he'll leave you alone.

Great stuff for polishing plastic is a stuff called lens restore you can find it at www.galls.com also you can use simple green on the colored plastic and then use a buffing compound on the lens to get the "burn" out of it and then use a mirror/finishing wax to buff them to brand new...

hope that helps. And I won't flame you, I think your alright..
