looking for a suggestion on tires

i would say the goodyear mt/r's i have not heard anything bad about them. i really like my swampers but they are 33's

actually I was thinking some square ones, maybe even rectangular... I dunno bro.

I can't find anything larger than 33's on goodyears site.

I run the bfg muds on mine and they do well....great offroad and behave well on the street, no regrets

My vote is for Goodyear MTR's.

I ran a set of 33's for about a year and a half. Just about 20K on them. All the roads around me for 3 miles are Chip and Seal so if you have paved road then you should see better mileage. Just remounted them onto my 4Runner. The still have about 50% tread and run very nice on the road for a Mud type tire. Absolutley the best in the snow I have ever had. On road and off.

Now have MTR's (37x12.50/15's) and they balanced no problem.

As far as price goes I paid less for the 37's in December than I did for the 33's 2 years ago. I printed the tire rack price sheet and walked into Discount tire. They gave them to me for 3 dollars more (to compensate for shipping costs). $167 each!

A lot of people dont like these tires but I love them have ran them on ever vehical I have owned there cheaper and wear realy well.

I run the bfg muds as my needs dictate an all-around tire...good trail
and street manners along with long life. Rock guys don't seem to care
much for 'em as the 3-ply sidewall of the bfg's doesn't hold up to sharp
rock edges at lower air pressures. I don't see many rocks.
I think the gy mtr's are descent tire as well but I can't get rid of the
experience I've had with gy wranglers. Those tire got hard as heck within'
a year. The general grabbers have a descent rep as well for the $.
Remington's wide brutes perform descently as well according to some
friends.
As you know, bio, yer choice is really gonna have to be made based on
yer intended use.
My bfg's are 35x12.50r15. Luck with yer decision.

ain't no rocks in the great lakes region. mud, and SAND lots of loose sand at silver lake.

I love the TSL Boggers but I hear nothing but good about TSL SXs. Thats my next buy.

My vote is for the grabber m/t's.......best tire out there for the price. Shoot, I beat the hell out of my truck, through mud, hills, up and over rocks, and never had a problem w/ traction. They clean REAL well in the mud.

Oh, and I'll have a set like new for sale next week once I get a day off of work to put bronco on jackstands if your interested, but shipping would probably kill you.
