BGY Winch Mount Bumper
I'm new to the, site but reading some of the set ups on the broncos here it seems like most of you all have a lot of good info for these trucks. With that said, I was curious if anyone has a pic or knows where one is of the winch mount bumpers that Bronco Graveyard sells? It seems like a good price, but I would like to see more then a drawing of them before I spend $600. Thanks in advance.

www.truckfarm.com also sells them. They're manufactured by Super Craft Industries (whoever they are....

I have pretty much the same thing as Style 1 5", only its made by Warn. Its a really nice bumper, great step to stand on when you need to work on your engine. I have the winch reinforcements too. But I am selling it because I am trying something different.

Blaze -I can't figure out how to post a pic of it but the style that I am looking for is at this website thanks to OgeeChee: http://www.truckfarm.com/html/TF_bumpers_2.html
It's the 5" style 5. SquattyD- Thanks for the pic it kind of gives me a basis to judge the style 5 on. Axaviere- I'm still new to the site and am not sure who Jeff is. Could you provide a link? Thanks for all of the input so far. ![]() |

iTrader: (8) Bronco Info: I may be slow, but I'm expensive!
|
![]() Those aren't even 1/8" steel on the wings, and barely 1/4" for the winch mount. If you'd like to wait til the end of the weekend, or so, I can post up a couple pictures of another meber's bumper, that I'm having powder coated right now. It's heavy, but it's far stronger than that TF bumper, at about the same price |

I've been looking at them from BGY as well, but I'm much too cheap to buy a new one. I like style #1, the rest look like rejects from Road Warrior to me.
Squatty, if you're serious about selling yours (just the bumper), let me know. I've got a line on a old Ramsey one, but don't know what he's doing with it yet. |

So far I've found a black Warn (brand new, direct from them) winch bumper for $249.99, and the one at truck Farm (5") for $333.33 which is a Super Craft. Going retro with my truck, so trying to match it with parts that look like they came from the 70s-early 80s, or used decent stuff. I'll have the only 70s Ford left with wagon wheels and sidepipes when I get done... still thinking about an 8 track as well. |

SquattyD, no offense, cuz that is a nice looking bumper, but i have read a few threads in here about warn bumpers ripping right in half at the slightest provocation...i was about to order one myself before i became "educated."
and newbies, don't waste your hard earned money, have David make you a custom bumper to your personal specs...it will be stronger, better built and cost the same or less. trust me you'll be happier. just my .02. |
