power inverters

i bought a power inverter off ebay for what i think is a great price so i asked the seller if he could give us a club discount he sent this info

I'm glad you are pleased with your Go Socket GS-1000 power inverter. I
also appreciate the offer to supply your club members with a discounted
price for inverters. Unfortunately my eBay prices are already rock
bottom prices. I would however offer your members the opening auction
prices rather than the "Buy it Now" prices.

GS-150 $15.99
GS-150MB $15.99
GS-300 $19.99
GS-300MB $19.99
GS-600 $38.00
GS-1000 $79.00
GS-1500 $159.00
GS-2500 $199.00
GS-3000 $289.00
GS-5000 $489.00

I have included a brochure of our newest inverters in pdf. Format.

Please feel free to email or call me at (800) 761-9304 with any
questions or comments.

We appreciate your business!

Best regards,
Darryl Quinge

Yeah man, pls post follow ups. I have no generator right now, but have a fat 12V deep cycle marine battery I run my 400W inverter off of, for TV and stuff, when the power goes out. Woldnt mind having a bit more power.

Thanks-

Yeah, please put that thing under a known load near it's rated max capacity. I'm curious to see if it can do it. If so, good inverters are coming down in price, which is good! Try like an angle grinder or drill (rated around 8-9 amps) or 1x1 ShopVac or something

it is installed. i used some jumper cables for wire. just cut off the ends striped the wire and put it in the terminals with the other wires. just hope i have good enough connection to be recharging battery. dont know if having
all that wire screwed to the terminal is ok. anyway i have tested it running skill saw and jig saw was able to cut with no problems. let you know more as i go along

Bronco Info: 1981 Bronco XLT, New 357W, New Frame

PS - Costco / Price Club has a Coleman Brand 400 Watt inverter that work flawlessly for only $20

I used it to go on a cross country roadtrip running a laptop, gps, cell phone, small battery chargers and a TV, Direct TV, and 5.1 Stereo. Worked great..

I really want solar panels though......

Define SkilSaw, 'cause most circular saws are 11amp minimum....some of the cheapies are 10A, but that's still pretty much above 1000W A/C
