They haven't really been around long enough for anyone to get any real road use out of them.

The only thing I have really heard is that the tire is very soft and does ok in the mud. it is manily a rock tire.

Well I have a friend with a 6" lifted Jimmy down the street. It was his DD for quite a while with 35" IROKs untill he got his new jeep. He might swap tires from his jimmy to his jeep but ill ask him when I get a chance and measure how much tread he has. I also heard they are very soft.

I really can't recommend them AT ALL for on road use. I got a set for my CJ when they first came out (mainly b/c they came in the 36X13.5, and the price,) and got just over six months out of them. They were great off road, but on the road they wandered way too much due to the big, soft lugs, and I also peeled three lugs right off (at different times) on pavement. The price is right, but the reliability definitely is not.

I could only imagine they'd be worse on a FSB because of the weight of the vehicle.

if you have to ask about treadlife, then they aint for you.

just like:

if you have to ask how much, you cant afford it.

it wouldnt be seeing that many road miles, especially if or when i get a trailer. it would probably only see about 50 mi. total during the week, if that. with the occasional trip to go wheel.

BSS, how did you manage to rip off three lugs on pavement?

Beats me? One was on the highway, I know because I heard it hit the inside of my fender. Not sure about the other two.

Bronco Info: '78 Custom with stuff and a '87 FSB with 33s and stuff.

In this months Four Wheeler, they have a artical on them and the 44x19.5 Boggers, 44x18.5 Swampers, 46x19.5 Claws, 44x21 Trxus. Some had pretty good reviews.

Super Swamper IROK

Size:49x21.0/20
Approximate retail price each:
$505.99, FET tax $44.88
Specs: Load range C, max aor pressure of 25 psi cold,, max load of 3,640 lb.
Analysis: Large diameter aside, testers found the tread pattern to offer an excellent combination of handling and traction.
Test Quotes:
Quote:
Has the best of both worlds found in the swamper and bogger.
Quote:
Has inner cleats for enhanced steering like a swamper and agressive outter cleats for traction like a bogger.
Quote:
With very little horsepower it cleaned out very well.
This last one sounds a little "funny" for a very agressive treaded tire..

Quote:
This tire would be perfect for the every day driver/weekend mud bogger.
Thats in the april 04 issue of four wheeler.

When you come to a 4 way stop, the vehicle with the biggest tires always has the right of way. In that case, people should back away from the stop
