Oklahoma Meet And Greet

Ok fellas,

We're looking at a date in November, Most likely a Saturday I'm going to throw out a date here, and we'll try to make it work.

8 November 2009, at Noon, does that work for everyone? We can plan for OKC and make changes if needed.
Rigman, got any place in mind for lunch before wheeling? Hooters? Chili's? something like that?

Not everything is in place, but let's hammer out the details and get this thing planned so we can get a headcount.

Let me know your thoughts, lets find a common ground, and get out and meet each other.

I'll update this post with attendees as you guys pipe in. I'm also willing to work around time/date/location.

I'll leave everyone as tentative until we get a date set and a definite yes/no from everyone.

Attendees:
amtarsha (+1)
JPenn43
BigUgly88EB
Teasers
Probkauz
Rigman

Make a 4 hour drive, crash on my couch, then make a 4 hour drive.

or bring the wifey down and rent a hotel for a what I like to call "would be romantic if it were anywhere but Oklahoma weekend."

I'm game, feel like I owe you a trip to Altus since I didn't make it this weekend.

If more people would show up I wouldn't have an issue with OKC.

Weather wasn't great on Sunday anyways, don't worry about it

I'm in the same boat, I'm just not super stoked about the idea of a 2.5 hour drive in the bronco, but we'll see how many others chime in.

Bump,

Should 79Time and I just give up on this? I know there's more of us here in Oklahoma, what's up?

depending on when you want to do this I'm in, the 1st part of April is my annual trip to Little Sahara, usually we go the 1st or 2nd weekend of april, if the timing fits, I'm in.

Are you thinking JUST a meet and greet or maybe some wheelin while we're at it? Its a long drive from Tulsa but I have friends and family in Tipton so a visit to see them might give me the excuse I need to convince the wife

I would like to come down then but I am not sure the Bronco will be ready for a trip like that in April. I am really shooting for being at copper mines in May though!! Hopefully I will get to meet you guys there.

I know this is an old thread, but is anyone in/around OKC still willing to meet up? I'm game, and I'd like to meet some of you guys and put some faces with names (and not just "handles").

Big Ugly are you located in Chickisaw. If so I think I know the guy you bought your Bronc from. It wouldn't be Jerry Day would it? I am in Keota (about 30 miles from FT. Smith,AR.). I would be willing to do a meet and greet some time in November. Let me know.

I'm a new guy in OKC, but I'd like to meet some of the local bronco guys. My friend (OKC4X4) lives up the street from me, maybe with some advance notice we could all make it depending on where it is. My only obstacle is I work friday nights, usually getting off at 5-6 Am...

I'd be game to meet and greet, don't know how far Billy will drive, he's in his transitional, "I'm a huge piece of crap" stage.

Let's shoot for a Saturday in November. Anybody got a specific day that will or won't work?

Anybody got any ideas as far as where to meet up? Do we just want to meet up an eat or find a place to wheel a bit or what?
