Easter Jeep Safari

Who is headed to Moab for this glorious Easter weekend this year? Just wondering what rigs I might happen to encounter. I will be sporting a Toyota Camry and riding in my friend wrangler (400, 11 lift, 38's, 17 bolt rear, 44 front so its pretty bad) but I am looking for broncos while I am there that might have a similar setup as I am working on.

I'm from Moab, grew up there & still have family & friends who live there. I refuse to be within 200 miles during Jeep Safari. Too many asshats overall & generally just a frustrating experience for me.

I'll be there Monday 4/5 only, assuming I get a spot on Pritchett Canyon. Sent in my registration the other day.

We try to go for like one day each year, but I'm with Rick - it's too much of a zoo.

Well my buddies buddy jumped off the waterfall near potato salad and had to land in a 4'X4' area. Well he was real drunk and jumped from about 25' and made it most of the way except his face. When he hit the water he was unconsious(sp) and got sucked to the bottom into a underwater tunnel. They finally found him after about 2 mins, they brought him to the top and he was turnin blue and had no pulse. We finally got his pulse back and got him to the hospital, which after they stablized him life flighted him to Grand Junction, CO where he is still in a coma but off of the life support. He cannot talk but he can write down what he wants and talk that way. My heart sank when I heard the EMS guys say "he's dead", even though I had never really met this guy before I couldnt stop cryin with and for his family. It was a pretty sad day.

Brad, I'm sorry to hear about that. I hope everything turns out okay. Recoveries from tragic things like this these days are nothing short of miracles with todays advances in medicine. I hope the docs can help him make a full recovery.

That was mentioned here and details were fuzzy. Do you mind if I quote your story over there?
