BroncoAir Winch bumper for your 87-91

We have decided to hold off on the sliders for now. But some good news for you older Bronco owners looking for a solid winch bumper. We are going forward with a front bumper for the 87-91 model trucks. So start saving for it. We hope to have the prototype done in 3-4 weeks. Shortly after that, if all the testing goes well, we should have it available for purchase. It will be almolst exactly the same style as our current front bumper. The only difference will be any minor changes to make it fit the different body and frame and contour to the front clip and match the wheel wells. Also, while price is not 100% set, I am expecting the price to be the same as the current front bumper. Contact me with any questions or for ordering info.

I know this has been long awaited. Should be awesome, like everything else Chris does.

One thing at a time. The sliders have become an issue. It's simply not possible to build a good set and keep the price below $500. The main issue is strength. We could have built a set for that price range but they would not be up to our standards. Here is a crude drawing of what I am looking to do. The issue of strength on the outer portion of sheet metal while keeping cost down is the problem. The side view drawing has the steps option drawn in. Without the steps it would be a straight line from wheel to wheel. We are going to do this bumper and then revisit the sliders.

Most likely not. If we do anything it will be to offer our new bumpers in a group buy opportunity. That will include the new front bumpers (for 87-91 trucks) only. Never say never but I don't plan on having any sales. Our prices are already as low as we can get them while still staying in business.

It's a quick and poor atempt at showing the basic design of the sliders that we were thinking of doing. The top shows a side view and the bottom shows a view from the back. The idea is to have a channel type slider with real good protection, new and different style and better ground clearance than most designs.

Look now.... not trying to be an @$$ but this thread is supposed to be about the loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong awaited Bronco Air winch bumper for the oh so unappreciated flat nosed Broncos so stick to the topic at hand please and pube-lish some drawins or pictures of that rascal!

Man oh man... I've been tapping you on the shoulder asking for this for how many years now? I just hope when the product is final and the offer comes that we really can get enough committed folks together to get that special discount.

Do you know how to read????

If so re-read the thread.

1.Around the same price as the 92-96 broncos (850-1500 depending on what mods you want)
2. It is in the process so he doesn't have pictures. go on broncoair.com to see pictures of the 92-96
