Solo Motorsports Bronco 12" Coilover Conversion Kit Update!!

Solo Motorsports built 12" Stroke 2.5" Coilover Conversion Kit update for Dana 44 TTBs: We are pleased to announce our near completion of our Bronco Coilover Conversion Engine Cage Kit with removeable cross bar over engine using inline machined clamps. This set up will work with Dana 44 TTB Cut & Turned Beams or Dana 44 4" Over Stock (Long Travel). We build desert race trucks and specialize working with Broncos, so longevity and strength has been factored into our design. All our tubing is DOM seamless and cold-rolled P&O plating....All shock tabs feature inner machined weld-washers that are tig-welded, so your expensive rod ends on the shocks won't get beat up. This is a weld-it-yourself kit. However, the engine cage is welded in house on a fixture so it consists of 3 pieces -- driver's side hoop, passenger's side hoop, and bolt together cross bar connecting both sides. Each of the 4 frame hoop points picks up 1 factory hole for proper alignment. Bolt that up and then burn. We've taken the guess work out. Shocks are "leaned back" for maximum shock-to-wheel travel control ratio. Engine cage features tabbing for a 12" stroke 2.5" coilover shock and tabbing for a 2.5" smooth-body or bypass shock. Cross bar will clear factory air intake manifold and air cleaner rubber ducting. Preliminary wheel travel numbers come in at 14.5" useable travel -- no rubber tape measures in this shop...And yes, the 1.25" heimed radius arms are still at the powdercoater...We'll keep you posted. Price to be determined, but affordability will be kept in mind....Final assembly will be completed April 13/14th....If you have any questions, please call 626.966.7656 M-F 9am-5pm pst or Email at info@solomotorsports.com or visit our website at solomotorsports.com (website redesign in progress)........Ask for Paul or Bobby

You don't need to win the lotto for this setup...It's very affordable for the average "Joe". We all at the shop are not driving escalades -- of the 7 guys that work here, nobody was born with a silverspoon.....we drive just a bunch of old ttb Broncos, Bronco IIs, Rangers, and a trick-out 4Runner.......

For the Engine Coilover Cage/Hoops only $1250 (remember ALL the guesswork of designing this is done. You place on frame and weld.....Purchase Engine Coilover Cage/Hoops along with a pair of 1.25" Heimed Extended Radius Arms for $745 and we'll knock $100 off the price...Add Cut & Turned beam work $300 and we'll knock another $50 off...To recap: Purchased seperately $2295....Purchase all 3 components $2145.....Plus coilovers and/or smooth body or bypasses....We sell 2.5" King Coilovers for $1300 a pair with coils and King Smoothies for $700 pr and/or King Bypass shocks for $1450 pr.....In my 20 plus years of fabricating, all you really need is a coilover shock... This would satisfy 90% of the trucks on FSB...yeah, smoothie or bypass in addition is nice, but we built the option in this product.. For any questions, call us.....

I have a complete Dana 60 setup with the standard 78/79 coil bucket system and Cage radius arms. I'm wondering if your engine coilover/hoops setup would work well with that application or is this restricted to the factory TTB setup? I have not installed the Dana 60 yet but I have spent the last few years gathering all the parts and reading as much as I could, I really like the coil over setup ever since I saw GKR's truck so I'm still keeping my options open.

Honestly, I don't see why it wouldn't work. We'd have to supply you with different tabs for the Dana 60 housing. Can you post a few pics of the complete Dana 60 differential and I'll take a gander at it.
