Great source for spare tire covers

After some searching on classicbroncos.com for a very nice quality spare tire cover for one of the trucks, I was referred with high praises by multiple folks to Angie. She is Canadian, and a maker of fine Bronco spare tire covers. I have seen pictures of her amazing work, and she is renowned for making custom covers that folks put on their car show-quality early model Broncos. Amazing work.

I contacted her by e-mail and she promptly responded. Without any confusion or hesitation she knew exactly what I wanted, and made it for me. I had no idea what it was going to look like, the only picture I had was a sample swatch of the tan vinyl she was going to use to make the cover. My experience with spare tire covers is limited to the black vinyl one I have on my '96, the classic bucking Bronco cover that you can get most places -

Angie had the cover made up and to my mailbox within a couple of weeks. I was expecting a cover just as thin as my black one, with the Eddie Bauer insignia stamped on it. That is not what I got. When I saw how gorgeous and well made this cover was, my jaw literally dropped. It's heavy, thick, and very solid. I don't know how to describe the stitchwork process, but the logo isn't stamped at all. It is a second layer behind the top layer stitched into it, with high quality bungee fasteners underneath. I am really at a loss for words at how I was able to get such a high quality product for such a great price - higher quality and a lower price than the cheaply-made vinyl ones you can get from other websites.

These pictures don't do it justice, but you can thank my phone camera and terrible photography skills for that.

I'm still amazed at how well it turned out, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone wanting a nice spare tire cover. I know she has an account on here (chopper43 I think) but it looks like it's been inactive for a couple of years, so it's probably best to reach her by e-mail. (chopper @ telus . net)

Haha, it is better than OEM! I almost paid $100 more to get an OEM one. Glad I waited and found her instead. Shoot her an e-mail, you won't be disappointed. Tell her Josh sent ya.

As big as you want. She'll ask for your tire measurements.

Absolutely, she can make whatever design you give her in whatever size you want. In fact before she mentioned being able to do an Eddie Bauer one my initial order was for that exact same cover - tan with classic "bucking Ford Bronco" design.

I finally got the cover on the tire today. It looks good. If it looks a little strange, it's because it is... I ordered it to fit the 32x11.50s that I'm going to have in the near future. Right now it only has 31x10.50s on it, so I had to "stuff" the tire to make it fit properly for the sake of cosmetics. Don't judge me! The color of my EB's top is "light mocha," which I believe they stopped using after 1993. Anyone with a 94-96 EB will have the "Light saddle" top, which is virtually the same color as the tire cover in the picture.

This is what it looks like untightened on the 32x11.50 spare on my green one. Now I can't wait to get the Mud Terrains ordered for the EB! :

That is the most common one and not worth much....the Eddie Bauer one is hard to find and worth some cash if it is nice.

I'm looking for a new spare tire cover for my 96 EB Bronco and I tried to find Angie (chopper@telus.net) who made the custom embroidered covers but didn't get a response. Does anyone have any recent contact info for her?
