high angle driveline=amazing!

I have had a hell of a time with driveshafts. I have destroyed 3 Tom Woods driveshafts in the past year. I just toast the CV's. And yes the angles are right. i am running a 20 degree operating angle also. I have had a high angle driveline shaft in for about a month now. It's amazing! No more vibrations or funny harmonic noises. I can even grease the ball in the center of the CV. The Tom Woods shaft was a 1330 series CV. High angle driveline is a 1350 CV. I am very happy with the service and the quality is top notch.

i have the same shaft, and i keep destroying the centering ball about every 1,500 miles, so every 6 months or so i rebuild it.

What is your operating angle?? I asked Jesse about that when I bought the shaft and he told me it would be like $75 to fix. Tom Wood would charge me $150 EACH time.-Tom said angles were fine, I just beat on the truck too much. How hard can I be with 200 hp?? Did you ever have a problem with the seal in the middle coming out?

my angle is almost 27*/ im running on the edge of what the shaft can handle. it gets hot sometyimes and blows the seal out, but i fix that all the time, but it just eats the ball up also. great shaft, im just on the extreme edge of it, and there really isnt anything i can do but toss a new centering kit in it all the time.

I've got the same shaft. No complaints so far but I probably don't have much more than 1500 miles on it.

27 degrees! WoW! Jesse told me 20 degress was the max for the shaft, and like 22 would be pushing it. Can you do anything about that angle? I did a 1" T-case drop and it helped a lot.
