Well I made it. Had a blast even though I only had a little more than a day. I have put some pics and videos on my superford page so check them out. I will get a pic or two here when I get the time. I'll give more details too but have to go.

Technically Lions Back is still open but they don't allow just anyone up. Not to say I'm the man (which I am)
They will not allow you to do it if you never have before. There is also a warning sign at the beginning along with a locked chain so you need to pay to get the key. It used to be $5 for the main gate now it's $10 for both. If you appear nervous he said he will immediatly say no. The guy said he turns many people away because he can tell they are nervous or not up to the challenge. You have done it right Dustin? Have any of you other guys done it before? It really gets the adrenaline going the first time you do it. |

Yes he did live but he was not happy. The man a the gate said it was some kids that went up. They were drunk no less. Stupid. The passenger got out partway up and guided the kid into a crevice in the middle that knowone in their right mind (which they obviously weren't) would send someone. You are suposed to straddle the crevice. The kids passenger front end dropped and the drivers side/front end then rolled over. Needless to say and the 4Runner proceeded to roll backwards head over heals down the side. Must have been a hell of a ride.

Yeah that tight section is cool. The part I am referring to is right before you get to the top of the little hill to start driving out and to the tight section. I have a few pics but they are hard copy so I need to find a scanner. It is the toughest part on Hells Revenge and I believe that is what the obsticle is called. It is like two giant steps and severly off camber to the right. Hopefully I can get you some pics of that soon.
