Southern Cal wheelers read this before you buy tires

I would not recommend Phillips Tire Stores. The one here by my place Destroyed 2 tires removing them from the wheels, didn't tell me about it, loaded them in the trailer and let me find out about it in the morning. Apparently had some inexperienced laborer removing tires by beating on the beads with a BFH. After being a customer there for MANY years, I figured they would want my repeat business. Guess not. Were the tires "new", no they were approx 70-80% of new and in great shape. otherwise. 38"X15.5"X15" SS radial TSL.

They are losing more than the $ they are paying out on 1 tire they are replacing....they no longer get to do any of the work on fleet at work, any of my friends vehicles, etc....

I'm not telling you not to buy from them,(thats your choice) just giving you an indication of how they treat their good long time customers.
I just don't want you to get the same shaft I'm getting from them.
