Help me identify this smog piece pleace
![]() Hose is causing a vaccum leak and not attached to anything besides the electrical connector seen below it stemed off the fuel injector loom, probably just going to cap it at the intake and eliminate it all together but figured i would ask if it was important while waiting for the freezing rain to end... Motor is in a 97 f350, 460ci, although i am not 100 percent sure the motor is from 97, just that it is fuel injected. I know some smog equipment is engine/year specific...

'89 Bronco is right..couldn't tell from that pic that the hose was connected to the TB..there should be another hose running down to the charcoal canister.

there isnt, so i am guessing that it wont go missed??
the smog pump is there, but i bypassed the belt around it because it sounded like it was going. The PO pulled out some of the emmisions equip when he swapped the bodies (also why i dont know the year of the engine/motor)

no, it won't go missed, you'll have a code that will stay in memory, but it won't throw a check engine light.
