B-Pillars & Drip rails on 78-79 Broncos
Before anything, yes I tried a search (on here and google).
I was wondering if the '78-'79 Broncos have the same problem as the '80-'96 with the end of the drip rails getting huge cracks where the drip rail meets the B-pillar? Like I said, search returned with nothing. It doesn't seem like it would really be as much a problem on the '70's FSB's because the drip rails doesn't actually tie into the B-pillar like it does on the later years. But do these broncos still have problems with B-pillar cracks? Thanks

I would say it depends on the Bronco's use but hadn't seen it for myself.
What I did-see tho, was my buddy's '76 F350 Stripped Chassis Super Cab cattle hauler's rear cab develop cracks big enough to stick your fingers in when the truck was going through a "twisty" spot in the road. "stick your fingers in there when the crack opens! ;)" -I'd tell the kids LOL :) That thing was like big scissors, it'd cut your fingers right-off, right-now! Sometimes they'd cut mesquite sticks with the cracks, playing around. LOL :) The cracks started at the rear window but traveled to the area the OP is talking about. What was weird as anything was how the rear window never fell out! :) We always wondered when that would happen and some of us predicted it falling out a good couple years before the truck was retired. I know about the cracks and different repair options for '80-'96 Broncos. My question was geared towards the '78-'79 Broncos only. From what I understand they don't have any problems with B-pillar cracks.
