If the halo lights are led's you should be able to tap the positive lead into a key-on hot wire and ground them to the low beam wire. The halos would go out when the headlights are on.

If they're anything like the replacements I put on my Bronco, which they look like, they have a replaceable regular bulb, and then a small blue LED. The LED is what takes the extra wiring.
It looks like in the picture, just the LED is on, and the headlights are off.

Also, depending on what wattage ( 55W or 35W ) the light output and color may change. I believe pure white for 35W is 4300K like Steve said, and about 6000K is pure white for the 55W. Anytime you add color, you lose usable light. You'd be better off with a candle than 12,000k HIDs

well got the new lights in, they are mor of a light blue due to the ballast that came with aren't cutting it. but they are bright i just need to align them, but hard to do when the prev owner stripped out the bolts anyone know whre i can get a replacement kit
