Stock Coils or Leveling Coils? Tire Wear Poll

Can't make up my mind; Should I keep the stock coils or put on leveling coils and adjustable caster/camber bushings? Leveling coils that could risk bad tire wear? Stock coils the trucks look stuffed with 32s on 15x10s.

update: I aligned truck on the rack, so far so good. caster/camber/toe within specs.

i have leveling coils on my 88 and use to have them on my 96. 88 has great alignment. 96 i cant say cause after jumping ti soo much i almost needed 4" coils to fix the alignment

Hmm how do you remove springs? Never had to do it before.

you have to jack the front of the frame high enough for the axle to fully droop down (cant lift by the axle). disconnect the shocks form the axle and swaybar from the axle. disconnect the J clip on top that holds the spring in. toke the big nut and washer off that holds the bottom in. its either a 1-1/8 or 1-1/16 size and can be a struggle to get out. install is reverse but the new coils might be abit longer so you may need to have the axle droop alittle more than before

Also when I replaced the passenger ttb pivot bushing; I pounded out the old pivot sleeve (because I sure as hell wasn't going to go to the extra work to remove the ttb arm and press out the bushing), and it caused the ttb arm to bend near the end. The engine cross member where it bolts up also bent. I beat it back into shape and enlarged the frame hole to get it to bolt back up. It looks decent, a tad bit wavy. I wonder if this could affect the alignment?

I had rancho leveling coils on my old 81, no problems with alignment. But I think you might have issues with your beat arms.

every time i do my pivot bushing i end up having to take the radius arm brackets off because of that. all i can say is whats done is done take it to get an alignment and see the results. if you have serous problems then you might need to replace those. it should be fine tho considering getting TTB aligned is never permenant and is only really getting as close to possible
