EGR Valve replacement and cleaning.
Hey im looking to replace my EGR valve so i can pass emissions in AZ, but I'm not sure if my truck has it installed -_-. I took some pictures but i'm not sure if I have it, the first pic i think its the egr control valve but Im not sure. Does anyone know exactly where the egr mounts in the 351m?
What I think the EGR is? ![]() My carb

The item circled in your first gigantic picture is the vacuum advance diaphragm.

Obviously, you didn't read the sticky threads at the top of the forum.
Look in the one called something like "official name this part".

One thing you can do to help pass your smog test is to put in a new set of plugs, back your timing down a couple of degrees then drive it around for an hour then right before you go in to test stop somewhere discrete and add 1/2 gallon = 2 x 32 oz. bottles costs $5-6.00 anywhere) of 91 % Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol to 1/4 tank of gas and you'll pass with flying colorsmassuming everything is in working order.
This information is from FSB member Sixlitre's post "I done falied my somg test (tears)" I've been using it for years and passed twice in the last four years. Good Luck ~

Mystery69 - does this look like your engine? (Not my pictures, but you really need to fill in your vehicle information)
