Seat Recline
I have a 91 EB....the driver's seat reclines too far back in the most upright position. Is there a way to adjust the seat to where it lets me sit up straighter? Or should I just find some seats in a junkyard...if this is the case is I would appreciate recommendations.

Jon, I have a similar problem, I think the seat back is too far back. I had my seat apart a couple of years ago, and on the outside of the seat, there is a sector like part of the seat recline mechanism, with a pawl that sets the seat back angle. I looked at the sector and thought that I might be able to put an additional notch in it to set the seat a little more upright.
At that time, my '96 was my DD and I needed to get the truck back in service (the seat frame cracked, and that's why I had it apart). Bottom line, I've never taken it apart again to cut that additional notch, but it looked like it would not be too hard to do with a Dremel grinding disk.

I have the same problem except my seat flops all the way back. I am going to change the entire brackets for now I think. I guess the PO had a big girlfriend because the passengers seat was FUBAR. I scrapped it and kept the seat mount slider.

There may be a pair of angled shims between the chair & the slides that can be removed (with SOME effort) to tilt the whole thing forward. If you only want the seatback forward, start by inspecting the notches in the mechanism for GUNK and make sure it's catching as far forward as it's designed to. Peeling the upholstery is relatively easy - click my tan CV in my signature (BELOW) and read the captions in the Seats & Belts album.

I am going to try all of the above....I can't stand laying back like that when I'm driving. Rebel: hilarious...but they happen.
