Rough idle, and Flooding problems

My 92 Eddie Bauer 5.8l Bronco has been having problems sometimes it feels like it wont take gas and if you give it too much gas it will stall out like it is flooding? Any one with any ideas anything would be appreciated im trying to keep my truck alive for one more year until I have the $$$ to replace the 351w and e40d.

Have you started by pulling codes?

Check for codes and pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and smell it for gas fumes, if so replace it.

its a 92 it has OBD 1 how do I pull the codes on it? Since OBD II connector wont fit it? and thanks again for the help
