After I asked to join the Mile High Jeep club to run some local trails, they told me to get lost for having a full size. I understand some trails are tight, but certainly not 100% of the trails.

yes i do believe you have to have a jeep to be in the club. but no vehicle restrictions on the all-4-fun event. many, many broncos, toyotas, sammys.

Bronco Info: 1991 SAS'd bronco HP44 front, duff arms, 4:56's, and detriot 9" rear, 4;56's ARB

Ran into these guys on hoky cross this past weekend, most of them were pricks, espically one guy in a sammy. It took him 45 minutes to get through the creek, then had the balls to tell us to hurry up when we got 3 trucks up it in 20 minutes. I have had nothing but bad experiences with any "jeep clubs" even clubs that say they are not bias. They all are bias against fullsize's.

They are just jealous of the superior performance of the "fullsize"!!
I am the only Bronco in my group of friends that go. They all have jeeps. We all have a great time.

Bronco Info: 85 302 FI & 4 spd "Blue Bronc" with 35s, dana 60 and Corporate 14-bolt

I wish I could have gone this year but am training up preparing to leave for Iraq with my activated MT guard unit. I have participated in all 4 fun with my beloved Diahatsu Rocky (loved the looks on their faces when looking down from the mountaintops on their hurtin jeeps and yes, Broncos) Also participated with them with my 85 Bronco. Most couldnt believe how well the bronco slipped through boulders and trees. Most of them are good folks who just love wheelin, a few have the misguided notion only jeeps are off road capable. Some are less pleasant, but fug em if they can't take a joke Hopefully in 2006 I'll be back and able to get a big bronco down to all 4 fun. Dave
