Bronco Info: Black 79 XLT. 429 power and 35" BFG's

Anybody running Super Swamper SSR's?

Anybody here ran the Super Swamper SSR radials? I just got a good deal on a set of 37's and I was wondering what kind of mileage I should expect out of them.

I have a set of 35" SSR's, I have gotten about 16,000 out of them so far, 3 of them are 50% tread, one of them is 35-40% tread, due to camber problem on one side. They handle great on the wet roads and do good offroad.

I ran a set of 35's and liked them. They hook up well off-road and are good on pavement, but the sidewalls made me nervous.

The 37's had problems with chunking at first, hopefully yours wont' suffer from that

Cool, thanks guys. The one thing that worries me a little about them is that they are 16.5's. I hear the 16.5's have problems popping beads if you air them down too much. But, hey they have less than 1000 miles on them and they are on Weld Super Single II's and seeing as I got all this for less than a grand I'm not going to get too picky...lol
