Turn Signal Mirrors?

Are there any side mirrors available for my 95 that have the red LED arrows for signaling built in? Havn't found any yet besides the cheap stick on turn signal type

None available through aftermarket that I've seen. They do exist, but are very rare. Try calling around to some dealerships or keep your eyes peeled at the junk yard is my only advise.

I saw them on a 96 Eddie Bauer in a parking lot the other day and waited for the guy to come out and asked him where he got them from and he said they came with it.

I read on wikipedia that those mirrors were standard on 96's

Okay, so maybe not standard, but an option none the less...

I contacted Muth 2 yrs ago about a signal mirror; no go..here is the reply from Chris @ Muth;
"Dear Al,
Thank you for your interest in Signal® Mirrors!

We currently do not have plans to develop a Signal Mirror® retrofit specific kit for your Bronco. This is due to low customer demand to date. Your request is important and helps us to determine what customer interest exists for specific vehicles. We will contact you if we do offer a kit in the future.

If you can't wait for us, you may be interested in our universal kit! It's called our Wide Angle Signal® Mirror. It's a fully-functional Signal® mirror that provides additional visibility and safety as a blind-spot mirror. This mirror is available with either a red or amber chevron! Go here to see the mirror: http://www.muthco.com/products/kits/200-0056.htm

Be sure to check out our upgrades that will enhance your Wide Angle Signal® Mirrors: http://www.muthco.com/products/smupgrades.htm

If you have any questions or comments, please contact me directly.

Sincerely,

Chris Wxxxx

Just scored a set of OE turn signal mirror LED backings! Passenger side has glass, drivers does not.

Miesk, do ya know if they (Muth/Ford) use some kinda special polarized glass or crazy 2 way mirror stuff to keep the chevron shape the LEDs shine through invisible when the LEDs are not on?? The glass on the passenger side signal backing and on the complete passenger side signal mirror I have has a different hue/coloration than the normal power mirrors that came on my 92 and other folks have mentioned autodimming mirrors. Were the signal mirrors also autodimming??

I have a set on my truck and love them. I don't know how many times I have been asked where I got them (they were ordered when the truck was built) Its crazy that you cannot see the flashing signal from inside the truck. I didn't even know the truck had them for several months after I bought it.

Seen that writeup, but in that one a guy makes his own out of aftermarket LEDs and mirror glass. I'm trying to get an answer on what kind of glass was used in the OE signal mirrors.
