5mph to 60mph

Looks to be about 12-13 seconds.

(Clicky for vid)

I think I may drop a few seconds with my new injectors, 90mm L-maf, and custom chip.

All in all I don't think that is bad for a 6,000lb brick on 38" tires.

I'll do an actual 0-60 later.

Any of you guys got 0-60 or 5-60 times for your Bronco?

I started measuring my 0-60 last week...I'm at about 48 now, so I think I'll hit 60 next Tuesday!

I thought you you just put in a high performance 302 in there. I've never actually clocked it, but I'm pretty sure I'm faster. I'll have something up just as soon as I see weather I will look like a schmuck for saying that or not

LOL so you guys noticed that too huh? Well it makes me feel much better because my 0 - 60 is around 11 or 12 if i can time it right. I've had about 14 before. I noticed that holding 1st out til 4900 - 5000 is not what to do because Broncos lost power after 4500 pretty much. But about 3800 to 4000 is a good shift point. All i do is either shift manually or just let the tranny do the work but i rhomp it til about 3700 or so and let off of the kickdown to kick it into second and then rhomp back into it and it picks back up in 2nd instead of riding 1st all the way out to where the power band is bad. But i'm glad about that because my cousin and i were like "dude what the hell, a 351 does 0 - 60 in about 12?" so i feel pretty good about that now i thought something was wrong with my Bronco.

Also i just noticed that a Yenko Camaro will run the quarter in about what a Bronco will run from 0 - 60. But they had 427's and weighed about a 1000 lbs less and had 4.10's in the back so yea. But one thing that a Yenko didn't have was a 4WD low range that could line up perpendicular with the side of a car and just push the thing for like 100 feet.

Don't fret quite yet, I am from canada remember, and 0-60 for me is 0-40 mph for you. But still, I think I can give you a run for your money. I will see what happens on the way to work tomorrow and then post a video to back it up...if it's worth posting. What gears do you have?

Specs are as follows.

357w, GT-40"X" heads, Crane power max cam, Eelbrock Performer intake. 70mm TB, and 4.56:1 gears on 38" swampers.

Your April Foolsize of the month.

Again, if you outrun it with a stock 302 then I did somthing really, really wrong.

I'm not stock, Gack. I have an aftermarket cam, K&N con filter, headers, 4:10 posi, on 33s. Nothing significant, but it is better than it was when I first got this 302, oh and this is a rebuilt motor with about 40k kilometeres on it. Like I said, I will let you know what my time is, one way or the other. I actually hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not...oh well

60 mph = 96.5 kmph

So your saying your 8.0kmph to 96.5kmph is only 12 seconds?

Probably not, but a rolling start is definately better than a dead stop take off.

I usually giver up to 80 klicks (50MPH) and it does pretty good. I don't think I'll do too bad. Giving it some more thought, I think I can be within 2 seconds of your time, at least.
I notice I get more power when I only step on the gas half way as compared to flooring it. I'm really curious now.

I have an excuse all ready to go, I filled up my tank today so I am fully loaded
