Bronco Super Celebration April 15-17

I read in the magazine issue #44 that there is a Bronco Super Celebration April 15-17 and tour the Great Smokey Mountains. Where are they having it? in Knoxville or Pigeon Forge with the spring cruise in car and truck show?

The event takes place in Townsend but some of the cruises hit Pigeon Forge and other local attractions. It's not part of the Pigeon Forge cruise and show - it's a separate event, but there is time to do both on Fri and Sat evenings. I went last year and had a good time and I have my reservations to go again this year. My 78's not ready yet so I'll have my stock 74 Ranger there. I recommend checking it out!

Anybody else going? There were a bunch of Broncos there last year but only 5 or 6 FSBs and only 1 was a 78-79. So not much competition in the full size S 'n S categories - show up and maybe take home a trophy!

Last year most of the activities were Friday and Saturday until about mid afternoon. There's a dinner on Friday night and a burger lunch on Saturday. Usually winds down around 2 or 3 and then there is a Sat afternoon street cruise. So if you can come to Townsend around noon on Sat everyone will still be there and you could catch the afternoon cruise.

Great show! Very relaxing with many old friends (and new ones) meeting up. Though I did not get an exact count the guess was just over 150 Broncos. And this one had many more Full Sizes than other years.

Thanks for the pictures! Some good looking rigs there, both big and small.

I went as well. It was a good turnout and not far from the Grand Rod Run either. Some great looking trucks. A guy from TX won The Orange Crush. I will admit it looks better in pics than in real life. They had a EB with 22's and a 7.3.....interesting. I spoke extensively with the owner of the cherry wood 77. They drove 9 hours all the way from Ohio.

We ventured over to Pigeon Forge last year and swore we wouldn't do it again. With 150 Broncos right there, seeing Ricers with loud rap music blaring was not my idea of fun.

I think that was one of the best times I've had. Still paying for it today. Meet some great new friends and chatted with some old ones.
Hope to get some pics up tommorrow. I wish you would have closed the door to the SHWPNY, so the pic would turned out better.
