not in the last few months but he's got plenty to keep his hands full. I hope too soon.

I appreciate the kind words and the sentiment Dragon. If I make that journey, it would be a last minute... "have I got my sh!t together enough to do this?" kinda deal but I've been hangin' around here so long... I'd really like to make it if I can, just to shake all those hands, see the faces that go with the names, share some laughs and well... the wheelin' would just be a bonus for me.

I just don't want to commit and have to back out at the last minute, like a flake.

I saw your interest and thought the same thing bud.

There have been a lot a of little gatherings over the years but with the varied interest and even though the site isn't as active as it has been in the past, that's probably the closest I've ever seen to a potentially "national" gathering of FSB members.

Don't forget... I've gone well out of my way more than a few times to meet up with members. Just never gone that far away from home. I'll have a lot to do to my rig before then but advanced notice is good and motivating. Wouldn't hurt that I could meet up and convoy down @AbandonedBronco too. Maybe even talk @RicoBronco into tagging along, if he can keep his work schedule clear and get his poop in a group.

Look at you guys building up the hype. Keep it up. That's what it takes.

As long as you can do 80.

That would be really fun though, and make for a more enjoyable drive.

as long as I can do 80 huh? my lil' lady gave me a radar detector for our first christmas. I don't think you'll need to worry about me "keeping up". although you might have to slow up a bit here and there for me as I'd be hitting the gas stations twice as often as you.

No need for a radar detector. Once you hit Idaho, I believe it's a legal 80 the rest of the way.

Wow, I didn't know that, either. 80 mph without constant glances in your rearview must be nice! Looks like it's only for rural sections of highway, though.

Kewl!

If I'm not on, my PM's are directed to notify my email (which I check daily, if not more), so if for some sad, strange reason someone actually WANTS to talk to me, send the PM and I'll be there like the ugly geek kid on Prom night!
