Looks like he doesn't from the pics.

I have the same setup as stan...with a spring. Located in pretty much the same spot. I don't jump mine like stan does, but even with wheeling and such mine has never hit the top. My spring is relatively stiff, but does help out a lot

1996 Eddie Bauer. Sold June 2013. Bought back September 2018.

I do have a spring on my antenna. It doesn't hit the top very often, not even when I jump the truck. Get the spring! It helps on the trails when your antenna gets caught on the branches. Nobody likes a bronken antenna.

I no longer have the 4' FireStik on the back, I now use a Wilson "Lil Wil" magnet roof antenna. Performs much better since its above the truck entirely and it's a much cleaner install as far as coax goes.

I don't think I'll find more travel just by upgrading to badder shocks, maybe an inch or two at most

Man I wish I had a soft top... I'm probably going to end up making my own at some point. It's one of the upsides of being taught to sew by my father.

Well, you got me curious, Stan.. c'mon, out with it!

I saw that too, and I was going to comment on it, BUT being from California I have been taught to welcome all "strange" people.
