Took mine to work instead of my truck, every day rig, and had to do a little welding.

Got the oil seals and springs installed on the 2nd head, ready to bolt on the block. Slow process getting this engine done in my spare time. This whole legitimate employment thingy sure gets in the way of my Bronco.

Where did you get the window seals from ?

What did you do to your bronco today?

@Blue1551 You have a Borg Warner 1356. Very common TC. What kind of “info” are you looking for? Maybe start a thread in the Noobie section for better exposure. Or do a search in the forums.

I am not sure what info I will need for future repairs and upgrades. I think I would like to know what the info on the tag means. I will look at the nubby idea.

Side note, it took you less than 30 sec to respond to my post. That is amazing.

The biggest thing you need to be aware of is the issue with the pump arm, especially on high mileage units. The arm slowly eats through the case and when it does, it'll spin and chew everything up.
It's an easy fix, but you need to drop the case and open it up.

You can see where the arm ate through here:

To fix it, you can weld a rod to it to give it a lot more surface area. Just did this yesterday:

@Blue1551

Your Welcome Sir.
Although with your question & @AbandonedBronco info,

You guys got me to thinking,
How can one "Modify" their 1356 ??
(the After Market T-case units are very pricey and extra space under Our Broncos is at a Premium)

Later,
Dragon

If someone is going to go through the trouble of modding it, they need to at least clock it first and get it out of the way

What did you do to your bronco today?

Drove it in the Woodward Dream Cruise. Then I dropped by Sackman’s house to check the ignition timing. I had a feeling it was bad since it was having a hard time accelerating and had some other symptoms, but I had no idea it was 4* ATDC! Wtf?! Set it to 10* BTDC and took it for a test drive and spun the wheels when I turned out on the main road! It’s like a new truck! Man what a difference. Thanks @sackman9975 !
