79 Bronco at Mecum Auction

79 Bronco going on the block later today on NBCSN. Always curious at what it will sell. Don’t really see many 78’and 79.

1989 Eddie Bauer bronco just sold for 12.5k-No Reserve.

1979 Listing.....

Me too. They are starting to show up a little on Barrett Jackson and Mecum. Last one I saw was a 78 at Barrett Jackson a few years back sold for over $50,000

I'm still trying to figure out why people pay money to have exhaust tips like that put on their vehicles.

It will interesting to see what higher trim level 78/79's do at auction in the future. This truck made it to 17k and its a custom with the base engine and its been modified, imagine a bone stock freewheeler or ranger package.

Agree with above.

Though I think tasteful reversible mods likely will not effect value much on the none special ones. Example to me would be Ranger429's Bronco.
