rerouted exhaust pipe

Well after ripping my exhaust pipe of the rear of my bronco on the last wheeling trip I decided to reroute similar to a few other on here...

just a couple of pics.

best shot I could find of old exhaust location.

drilled a 4 1/2 hole thru lower rt quarter and had the pipe rerouted thru it.
outer shot.

shot of in the wheel well.

so now the exhaust is protected by the rock slide...

ok thats it.

Nice job! I thought about doing that to mine but didnt for now. If you smash it on the rocks now you got more problems that just the exhaust

You will like the location. Just make sure it's not leaning on the frame or it will vibrate like crazy. $3 mount and $5 3" clamp at Autozone fixed it for me.

Bronco is sold to another member but the memory will live on.
I still come here to keep up with wheeling buddies and check out their rides.

Even though its functional, its also looks cool as hell too. I'd even do it if I didn't have any ground clearance problems.

That looks great. I've been thinking real hard about dumping my true duals and going out the side like that too.

How's the exhaust smell in the cab?

BTW, looks good! I'm thinking when I finally put a muffler on, that's where I'll run it.

fourman....no smell in the cab with top off...
ptack1...theres about a 1/2" of clearance around the pipe...and my paint is getting thrashed anyways.
tubb...did not want it exiting under vehicle...do like the idea of when I am playing in mud or water having it under there.
