I am digging the gladiator pickup, on my bucket list of stuff to buy when my long lost great uncle I never knew dies LOL. Thing that I dig is the HD 44 axles and convertible too. Downside is the crappy Pentstar V6 and weak stick trans , but you play with it a little and get nearly V8 power. Dig deep for mods, but nothing’s cheap, suspension wise and axles its hard to beat even stock.

I had a 2011 Jeep for a little while (4 years). The engine and trans were just about the only parts that didn’t give me trouble. That vehicle was one huge electrical gremlin after another. British carmakers would be jealous.

Radio clock would lose time
Drivers lock died
Passenger lock died
Heater vent control died (twice)
Passenger headrest airbag popped for no reason while sitting parked at work.
Windshield wipers would turn on but may or may not turn off until ignition is turned off.

I was following a Jeep home yesterday. He had to hard brake because the car in front of him was turning left into a parking lot. OMG. The Jeep had a Death wobble on the front wheels. That was scary to watch. That was [email protected]!!

I have a Rubicon and it got the death wobble at around 25K miles. The stock ball joints are crap. So I replaced them with the "mother of all ball joints"! One time my B and SIL were following us and it went into the shakes. It scared them more watching it than it did us in the Jeep.

The only worse case of death wobble was in my 78 Bronco when the entire front set of bushings were worn out - it was so violent that it ripped the battery out of the hold-down and broke the fan shroud! Both are now fixed so that my wife will ride in them again!!

Back on topic, the mirrors mounted to the windshield frame is a good improvement over the Jeep layout. However when you relocate Jeep mirrors to the body or windshield frame they are harder to see. I hope Ford solves that issue.

The lack of two doors put me out of the market, really lame like who wants a limo Jeep ?

This is the Gladiator I am talking about, wish they made a scrambler again with a V8.

I have had a lot of king pin HD trucks that wobbled along with my Jeeps with closed knuckle. Just tap the brakes and give the wheel a wiggle and it stops LOL. It always would go wacko after a good pot hole or railroad tracks. Steering stabilizer helps greatly.

I wish the mirrors on my 92 FSB were mounted further forward. They suck if you don't have the driver seat all they way back, which I don't.
Sorry, back on topic......

I figure I never like stock stuff anyhow, I get bored easy so I am a hard guy to please. One thing for sure is the Dodge Caravan interior in my 2000 was garbage.
