I just read this article. That test mule looks good, very much like some of the renderings we have seen over the past few years. Here is to wishful thinking!!

Could they be releasing a 2 door old school full size with SVT base in addition to the more 'tame' 4 door based on the ranger platform that's been rumored as well?

That short truck would be pretty fun as-is too... Of course a new full-size Bronco would be better!

I saw the TFL truck video about this yesterday. I would definitely buy a new full size Bronco based on that test mule. Id also consider buying the regular cab raptor.

I don't know about the rest of ya's but I'm getting pretty tired of all the click-bait, fake out bullshit... myself.
Either release the damn thing or give us some realistic previews.
Has any manufacturer played games to this extent with the very folks they'd like to sell too in the past?

Ford's acting like a fickle bitch in menopause with the new Bronco hype and BS.
By the time they get around to being straight with us... I'll have lost all interest and my ol' lady is a serious, potential buyer.

Its marketing 101, build a ton of hype for the what ifs before releasing a disappointing product.

1) Blow out the back wall of the cab

2) Fuse the cab to bed.

3) Mount a fiberglass top on said bed.

4) Profit

BOOM! 21st century Bronco.

This is just getting retarded. What does Ford think, someone's going to copy and sell a Bronco knock-off if they reveal it too early? Show the damn truck or piss off already.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

That would be so sweet:

Standard 2020 Bronco releases and is based on the Ranger platform. FSB version releases (for all the die-hard fans that have been clamoring for a bitchin' throwback to address nostalgia) and is based on the F-series Raptor platform, comes standard with a supercharged V-8, features OBA with selectable front and rear lockers, and has a removeable hard top that caps an integrated and fully functional roll cage. Winch bumper/carrier bumper/rock slider package as upgrade options. Manual trans and/or turbo diesel V-8 as drivetrain options.

I would f***ing die.....

I'm so excited for this thing but I'm also afraid to see what the price is going to be for one with anything bigger than an ecoboost 4 cyl

I hear they have plans for a flagship SUV running electric power. So at least that presents a barrier with price.

I'm bracing myself for the increased price on the bigger engines as well. It's going to hurt when they come out with the pricing.

Shave about half of the rearend off to improve departure angle.

Maybe even put in half 'death-doors' (like on the full size trucks).

Unless dimensions are posted to compare F-150 chassis to F-250+ chassis; this is not a full size frame.

I rented both vehicles can tell the difference via interior space; LIKE NIGHT AND DAY.

I felt like Wilt-The-Stilt with the F-150.

If it is an F-250 chassis; offer it with the new 7.3L.

@CDA 455 At the very least I hope Ford does some crazy SEMA show build with that new 7.3. It might be the prefect precursor
