I can't find support documentation for an Inspiron
9100, but I can for a Dimension
9100. Is it a Dimension that you have instead of an Inspiron?
What processes are running at startup? Is there an antivirus running a scan at startup? Did you perform a disk cleanup, defrag, and scandisk?
No, its an inspiron, based off the original XPS case. I have done scandisk, and all the other standard jazz. I trim the startup down in msconfig to only what I need to run, killing all the other BS that ends up on there. I really wanna say that it is a windows problem.
The only thing that I have done recently since it start was go from Norton to AVG but I pulled all the norton stuff off there with the removal tool
