I've got a Tasca Ford Racing tshirt
Tag from my 78 F150 ranger.
I started researching this, and thanks to
I found it was made in San Jose, CA, but ordered for DSO Kansas City.
Color is light Jade. Jade vinyl interior with headliner.
Oddly, I'm almost positive it has a t18, but the tag says np435. The PTO takeoff plate is on the opposite side as the np435 in my 85 bronco.
(Edit: it is indeed an NP435!)
It has a factory limited slip rear 9", and is 4x4. Also odd, is that supposedly front axle code "J" doesn't say 4x4 and says it's a ford front axle, which to my knowledge, didn't exist. Its got a d44 under it.
Another quirk about this truck is the front shocks. It has both sides behind the coils. Not one in front and one behind. Does /did not have quad shocks.
She had a 30ft section of cottonwood tree fall on her, and has sat for quite a while. Axles are rusted solid, the wheels don't turn. Some day, she'll get back on the road.
