420 again LOL

I turned on the news and they are talking about parades and awareness WOW things have changed. Talking of going recreational here for tax bucks and how much theyíll profit from it. Well happy 420 for those who partake!

I understand that alot of people enjoy responsibly and/or use it for their ills, but it has ruined parts of Colorado. My Granny's town of Manitou Springs has been ruined and is now full of wandering crackheads (one of whom took my wallet). That and I'm sure half the people on I-25 are high on something, or liquid stupid is in the water supply.

Dunno about crack but obviously the gov't is wrong about pot, turns out there are miracles a hiding in that stuff. Should be decriminalized, just like alcohol has some good properties. The real issue with the gov't, they can ban you from making spirits so they can make their taxes, but bud is just as easy to grow as weeds, the gov't can't figure out how to get it's cut. I'll be smoking some tax free bud tonight, sorry uncle sam ya dickhead.

My neurologist, physical therapist and spinal surgeon have told me that THC would benefit me with my stuff but we live in NC, where the grand old party of rich white men running the state have managed to keep it illegal. My wife and I have discussed moving back to Florida, primarily because of the availability for medical reasons.

I find it completely laughable that some would completely blow past the opioid crisis(brought to you by your pharmaceutical corps running the Govt) and number of people killed by drunks(brought to you by the legal beer commercials linking hot sex to being shitfaced!) to talk about how legalized pot has been a black mark on society.

Redneck stoners.....come on! Ole' SCB sure likes his whiskey but also usually gets the fire department called on him this time of year.

Sorry, I use the term "crackhead" to describe anyone out of their head for any reason. All I know is where once you never saw zoinked-out people staggering around, now you do and the biggest change was the introduction of legal marijuana.

I feel for the plight of you Coloradans but I have to say, living in the other state that legalized recreational use on the very same day... you guys went all in on the "We're First!!!" hype and got what you asked for... and all the flotsam and jetsam that go with it. I still think you guys did it better, with personal grows and decent numbers but those "growing pains" usually hit the "first" the hardest.

Greedier than WA, OR or CA? No way. You can't give the sh!t away on the black market here.
A $300 ounce sells for $100 - $80 now. Good time to be a buyer... but I still grow my own, because I can... legally.

I goes much further than weed, we should be paying less than anyone for fuel, we are paying 3 to 5 a gallon. Taxes are now highest in the nation for cook county and soon with our new governor we will be paying cook county tax everywhere. My niece lives in Washington, everything is cheaper including rent.

The issues with Colorado stem from many years prior to legalization. For years, you've been able to operate head shops, selling anything you needed for smoking, except the pot. Then add in the hippies in Boulder, and the downtrodden north of I70 in parts of Denver. Plus the hippie esque mountain lovers. And dont forget that Colorado is a vacation state, where people often dont go back home because they fall in love with them mountains. Then they get a seasonal job at the ski resort, and easy access to drugs (before legalizing mj) and become a burnout and homeless.

Manitou Springs has a rough go because it's the closest municipality to Colorado Springs. As part of the legalization litigation, every municipality has the option of allowing dispensaries or not. Colorado Springs is home to the Air Force Academy, and does not allow dispensaries. Therefore, all the scum from CS "moved" to Manitou.

Estes Park is still a beautiful family town, and they dont allow dispensaries. Yes, it's still legal to smoke and possess, but they dont sell it there.

Another thing many who arent in Colorado or another legalized state dont realize is that it is still illegal in National Parks because they are federal land. You can and will get ticketed or worse if you're caught on federal land. Not that they will ticket you every time, as most are fairly understanding.

I am kinda used to the trans being near Chicago, for as long as I have been here in Chicago this has been the drug hub of the US. Everything goes through Chicago by mule, truck, container, boat, plane, you name it itís been done. The biggest problem here is pills and shooters.
