@curtwow showed me that last night. Interesting to say the least.

Not real sure about the rear axle setup. It says f350, but no f350 has ever come with ten lug axles. That's F-Superduty territory, and not even all of them were ten lug. Then 5 lug on the front? Come on, do the full one ton swap!

I've seen two other dually Broncos, both cooler than this one.

"Under the hood is Bronco's premier engine of the year.... the 302" {really ? } The awesome power of the 302 will be used for turning that rear diff and tires-

Yeah, for me to get interested for real I would have liked to see the solid up front. But this would take a Bronco and make it more tow friendly and maybe a little less trail friendly, which suits my needs in my old age. Tow friendly except for the second engine, which kinda shoots themselves in the foot.

Curt has a 78/9 with a 4bt and superduty dually axles. No fender flares. It looks pretty sweet imo. Ita got a slight lift as well.

It would definitely help with towing stability, and depending on wheel choices, decent on the trail. There used to be a conversion kit sold by JC Whitney, for trucks and vans.

And think about the wonderful gas mileage you'd get with that 302 monster pulling an extra set of tires!

Still 5 lug in the front. Classy...
And he refers to it as a Jeep in the description, and there is a picture or a Chevy vortec something in the middle of the engine pics
I dunno about that one...

This is pretty tame compared to some of the project vehicles I'd like to make. Maybe its the redneck farmer in me, but if you want something that's pure fun, try searching for a trucktor.

I'd like to do a Bronco variant on that some day. (I tell the wife its for her so she'll let me build it.)

1991 Bronco w/ 5.0L V8, Auto w/ E40D trans, factory spare tire rack, factory limited slip diff, dual batteries, custom air intake, 8K lb. winch, tactical seat covers, drop down TV w/ CD/DVD player, 31's on stock suspension, roof baskets, new injectors, rear bumper w/ tire rack, 33" Goodyear Wranglers, 2" suspension lift.

To Do List: paint,
My BKO build: Project Farmhand

Reminds me of the post hole digger I saw once made from a front D60 axle. PTO spun the pinion, which spun the auger on one of the axle shafts. Farmers are the most ingenious people on earth. Necessity and low funds drive their inventions.

Why does it look like there's no transfer case?

Tough to kill an old six

Follow the cross member.

You can see the T-case in the middle of the pic and it's driveshaft forward of it.

Theres also an odd cutout on the crossmember for I assume exhaust.

And that is definitely a sterling rear axle.

Interesting.

I looked at pics of my 8.8.

Housing tube looks skinny like said 8.8 .

AH! I see the web-structure now on the Sterling pumpkin! :lightbulb:
