Anyone have to replace the rear main on a 7.3 Powerstroke?

Any tips for me?
The new one came with like a bearing in it but it looks to not be needed as it wasn't on the new one. I just got the old one out but I need help on the new one going in.

Better get some help, theres something that goes from the rear engine plate into the heads and if you pull the plate wrong you will have to remove the heads. I wish i had more details but its been awhile since i took the class and i dont have the books for it anymore. I bet dustin knows about it though.

Also make sure its not actually your high pressure oil pump leaking. When they leak it goes down the lifter valley down tthrough where the engone and tranny meet. It looks just like a rear seal leak though.

The rear main is bolted in and that cover doesn't need to be removed, I'm almost done actually. I checked the HPOP seals and it wasn't that.

Thanks for the reply though!
