Funny to me... many probably just see some scumbags on bikes and I see the lifestyle I grew up loving and making my own, minus the clubber BS.

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years

Yes, suicide shifter or jockey shifter, all basically referring to the "suicide clutch" and not necessarily the shifter itself. The name comes from the left foot operated clutch, so if you're sitting at a light and the bike leans a bit to the left, your natural reaction to put your left foot down to catch the bike, you just released the clutch, and you are now off and running, usually into traffic. The solution to this was a "sissy spring", but we'll let @BikerPepe` explain that one.

I'm lazy and it's late. I've been eyeballing this setup for awhile now, if the day ever comes where I can't wear my prosthetic. A trike kit would finish it off... god forbid. I really dig this clutch solution and easy to take on-off, as/if needed. https://widowmakerindustries.com/
