I agree, I've dragged this on too long, I'm with you on switching to some shots of American military!

I can do that...

White Dragon likes this.

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years

He knew exactly what he was doing.

Not sure what he is, maybe a Gray Hawk or a Kite of some sort. Almost solid gray, with a whitish tail. He was about the size of a bald eagle, but not quite.

Awesome!
My wife snapped this pic a few weeks ago. Our local neighborhood pond of geese and ducks was found by a pair of Eagles. This one is on top of a duck about to fly away, my wife drove by a couple hours later and there was also a dead goose hanging from a branch high up in a Cottonwood tree.

This photo is from book of photographs by combat photographers called Requiem. The photo credit is as follows: HIROMICHI MINE Ha Phan , Vietnam, 1967
A U.S. twin-engine transport Caribou crashes after being hit by American artillery near Duc Pho on August 3, 1967. U.S. artillery accidentally shot down the ammunition-laden plane, which crossed a firing zone while trying to land at the U.S. Special Forces camp. All three crewman died in the crash.
