95 Ford Bronco XLT

What’s going on FSB fellas !
My name is Jay , from sunny side Southern California . Own a 95 Ford Bronco 5.8 XLT , got it as a gift from a very good friend of mine. It was a bit beat up and it is all stock just as I received it . Was looking around forums now that I have free time , I would love to fix it up . Maybe I can get a few tips from you guys and help me out . As you see my default pic , I have taken the top off and drive around always trying to do some charity work in my city and surrounding areas. Besides that part , I’ve always dreamed of owning a Bronco and now I have one haha . Any tips you guys would love to give me I’m open to everything , I want to get this bad boy just as nice as y’all have yours ! Thank you , God bless .

Yo Jay,
Welcome to the right place with the right stuff to maintain your 95!
Here is the 1995 Bronco Dealer Brochure

Was cruise control, if equipped recall work completed by dealership? Call local dealer or register and view status @ https://owner.ford.com & have VIN ready..
"Summary: ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS, PASSENGER VEHICLES, SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, AND MOTOR HOMES CHASSIS, THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, LEAK INTERNALLY AND THEN OVERHEAT, SMOKE, OR BURN. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN UNDERHOOD FIRE."
Use this guide by jowens1126 to confirm recall status @ http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/...ml#post6530073

For any Bronco questions or to chat about it's planned modifications or build, it's better to post each seperately in Noobie Bronco Tech Questions. Flame free zone. This will get more attention and you can build up your post count to get into other sections such as Bronco and Ford Parts/Accessories (75 posts required to view).

Please fill out your Bronco Info with year, engine size, transmission type, transfer case type (manual or electric shift), locking hub type (automatic or manual) info & major mods such as a Lift, etc. for better responses.

There is a 60 day waiting period before you can vote or be nominated for the newest Full-Size of the Month (F.O.T.M.) contest. See pictures & build info of each Bronco nominated! Purchasing the FSM upgrade does not wave the 60 day waiting period. Contests will be held in JANUARY, MARCH, MAY, JULY, and SEPTEMBER. Each month in-between will be used for nominating contestants to run in the following Month.
You will get ideas by those competing.
Then get ready for the Full-Size of the Year (F.O.T.Y.)!
