Yeah,
Don't know about "Big Time" just lookin' to get the S/E corner together a little bit better,
After all that 2hr. + ride to phx + however many hrs. & miles to go wheeling is a little taxing on "Man & Beast" alike....
(Looong way home if broken).

So, Yesterdays Cleanup in Redington Pass was Good.

We started at 0900 hrs and finished at Noon.

Only 2 Broncos showed up,
but @Lil' Red pitched in good.

Maybe next time more of the FSB crowd will attend.

Anybody want to meet up and wheel during the Holidays?

Trail Report - Chimney Rock & Bullock Canyon 05 Jan 2018

So the Chimney Rock / Bullock Canyon run went OK.
White Dragon & @Lil' Red survived.

Chimney Rock = FUN FUN for the Crawlers.

After that Area,

Only 1 Really Bad section,
Serious Danger / Hazard at an "Off Camber" Outside turn, Worse than ever...

Due to "Post Fire Erosion" This is Definitely a Possible Recovery / Rescue spot dependent upon "Driver Skill".
Pucker factor of 9, Not for the Weak of Heart..

Otherwise, the trail is Open & Rough but passable.
Plenty of that Free Pinstripping available in the wash bottoms with a couple "Low Overhead" areas.

some areas of the trail are quite rough due to Erosion after the wildfire late last year
and the Wash tracks are completely different due to last seasons Monsoon Rains.

Times were 6.45 hrs from End of Pavement and Back w/ 1.5 hrs "Play Time" at Chimney Rock.
4.95 hrs actual Trail run time with 2 rigs and a Brisk pace.

For this trail, White Dragon recommends, 33" Tires on a 4" Lift (Min) and at least a Limited Slip diff.
Stock rigs could make it but Extra Time & Effort would be needed with potential for Breakage.

Depending upon Participants,
Next Run will be Sunday the 7th. (Trail TBD)

Any possibility of repairs to that part of the trail or would it require heavy equipment to do it?

Italian Trap Corral Run. 7 Jan 18

Sorry for the late notice but,
My Pre-run for today has been postponed until Tomorrow at 0845 +- hrs.

Anyone wanting to go can meet up at the Last Circle K on Tanque Verde (B-4 Redington) at 0830hrs.
Dragon will wait 15 / 20 minutes before proceeding so figure on a 0845 hrs. leave time.

Not being Cocky or Authoritative but it IS a Late Start time and I am fighting some time constraints this Sunday to be "In-n-Out".
(Now that just sounded kinda Dirty. LoL)

Anyway, I need to "Wrap it up" by 1400 hrs (2 pm) and be back on the Asphalt.

I am figuring a Short run to the old "Italian Trap" gate and Corral area to check trail conditions.
In on Entry #2 and Out through "Proposal Point".

it should be an Easy run, But we know how trails change, Stockers on Larger Tires should be OK on this trail.

Hey guys my name is Jim and my Bronco has been sitting for a while but she'll be up and running soon. Just waiting on a few parts to arrive in the next few days. Anyway I've got a pretty much stock 84 so I can't do anything too gnarly but I'll be following this thread for future trips.

Thanks Dragon! I actually just joined the FB AZ Bronco Club today... So I've got a red and white 84 xlt "HO", nothing too special, running 31" cooper sst tires. I threw some headers and duel exhaust on her a few years back. Right now I'm getting my fuel tank in order. The sending unit was spilling gas whenever I had a full tank, also my vent tube in my filler neck was getting dislodged so I would only be able to put about 0.1 gallons in at a time before the pump went "click, click, click". So I have a refurbished filler neck from a 87-91, along with sending unit, gasket, etc on its way as well. Hope to make it to the meet and greet!
