As @Ford 4x4 mentioned, if this is going to be successful {and I can't see why it won't}, we need more input on what everyone thinks.

OK, Calling out all shots, lets here from you guys @dash_cam , @GetBent4x4 , @Cowboyjoe42 , @mechhands and the rest of you guy's that I didn't mention...

ie. times, dates, places, etc.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I am busy for roughly the next 6 weekends. I have a very small side business slinging crawfish and after this weekend have a few jobs lined up.

I might be able to meet up late May, after I bring my daughter home from her first year in college in Albuquerque.

I'm usually open on most Saturdays, I like the idea of a meet up hang out as well as a trail ride. i like the idea of maybe the third or second Saturday of every month meet up or trail ride. Kellers was a good spot for us Dallas guys but maybe if we can find a place in Arlington for meet up to get more of the Ft Worth crowd to join.

Great, I was also thinking {yes I think, so stop laughing} we should hold up on making it a "scheduled" meet until we get a few more inputs and see watt everyone's schedule is like...

Arlington would be a good spot as well.

Keep your inputs coming...

Didn't want to through you under the bus in any way, just figured you might give your input on here as to where, if any places we can do some trail rides?

Look forward to seeing you in May.

Thanks,

well there's bridgeport which is very popular. i've been there a few times and my stock bronco did fine on some areas. but it's very rocky. i want to get out to either barnwell mountain (by tyler - so about 2 hours) or hidden falls adventure park (by marble falls/austin - 3-4 hours away)

outside of those, i don't know any in the area

Well, then watt good are you for ? Just Kidding my friend Ö

I've been out to Barnwell mountain {Gilmer}, a couple Years ago and had a blast. The only down side is the two hour drive ...

Wasn't able to make it out to Bridgeport but did see pics of one of those trips and it looked like fun.

I can only assume that Bridgeport like Barnwell has different levels of trails.

Anytime is good. For meets nothing too north; or too west would be ideal. Not sure about wheeling as my rig is stock/leveled.

It's ok, I have a winch!

Yeah, I would just like to find a "nice" trail that we can enjoy the scenery and get back Home safe...

I kinda like the idea about Arlington area or even Dallas for the meet. Plus it doesn't always have to be in the same place, this way I think we can get more members to participate.

@GetBent4x4 , are there any places by your neck of the woods for some light trails ?

Hey y'all I appreciate all the additional input.

To get the ball rolling, I propose meeting up either Saturday April 6th or April 13th. Full disclosure, I'll be out of town on the 5th but don't let that stop yall if it's a better day.

2pm seems to be a good meetup time but feel free to suggest other times.

What is needed from y'all is a good place to meet up that can accommodate us all. Burgers, or Brisket is definitely good. However, burritos isn't out of the question either.

Let's do this!

Saturday is the 6th. If y'all come to oak Cliff brewery on Saturday from 1-6pm you can get some fresh boiled crawfish prepared by yours truly...If you're into that kind of thing.

I take no offense if y'all meet there or not.

I will be in Houston, but y'all should take Joe up on that.

Now if I only I could only convince the girlfriend to let me stay home for Broncos and crawfish...

P.S. I updated the dates in my previous post, but I will leave this here as a reminder that I'm an idiot.

Thumbs up

@Ford 4x4 , I too looked at the wrong Month and noticed that the 13th is my Grandson's 1st Birthday.

@dash_cam , Is this gonna be every Saturday or are you gonna be in different areas? The wifey likes the idea of Crawfish and I haven't told her it's at a brewery, she'll love that.

We've been out to Four corners brewery in Dallas a couple times, but never to the one in Oak cliff.

this is the flier for this weekend.

@dash_cam Any updates for the Four Corners Brewery boil?

Gentlemen, being the selfish bastard that I am, I propose we meet up on the 14th (my schedule cleared up for that day). If Joe is still doing the boil, I say we head there. If not, then I'm open to suggestions.

Hell, even if y'all don't go, I'll probably go and bring the girlfriend. It would be nice to have some more of y'all show, though.

Well, then if there are no objections, I propose that's where we have our meet up.

Cool

Thanks for that link @dash_cam ! Those of us that aren't on FB should appreciate it and have no excuses for not making it out.

You don't have to drink to come out and have a good time, so PLEASE don't get discouraged because it's a brewery.

Thanks,
Allcruisen
