Some companies list the High Torque starter different between a 4 speed and Automatic. This is the starter I had on my 4 speed.. . and it worked fine on the Auto as well

Itís soooooo pretttttttyyyyyy !!!!!!!!

So I got the old motor, Trans, TC out Ö time to get the new stuff in .. I just had to check it out !!!

Setting the new in:

Got me some GREAT HELP @92bronco73 Ö. We got a lot done that day thanks to his help !!!!!

So the motor, and Tranny are in but had to fab up the cross member to fit the aftermarket transpan

I ended up putting the TC in myself, and I am way too old for this and I was hurtin after this:

Got the Column switched out, not sure if other parts of the country are the same but it was a chore finding a new column .. and I wasnít willing to change the steering wheel or I would have bought a new one Ö this column ended up needing rebuilding, but I found another that didnít

I also decided on some LARGE Gauges to watch with the all new drive train

I had to have the rear driveline shortened a couple inches, and the front lengthened a couple of inches and got them installed

All in Ö now we just need some exhaust Ö didnít want to drive it with open headers so had is towed

Got the exhaust on and running Ö I will post some video of first startup later

Here are a few of my Favorite pictures

For those of you that follow Pertersons 4X4 mags Ultimate Adventure they started this years Adventure here in Arizona . They started at Table Mesa and did Terminator , and also Predator trails (both in the same area) with there Highly modified rigs.

Last night I posted a few videos of me going through Predator, Here are a few more of both:

This is the beginning of Predator (and no the Jeep didnít take the same line he went around lol) This is when I decided I was going Automatic eventually. You can also see the fresh damage from Moab that is now fixed

Later on the same trail

After the exhaust was done and the BKO was running I found that (what a surprise) the Headers leaked. So I called Sanderson and they told me to put ľĒ Bead of Black Permitex and let it dry overnight before installing them. I also took off the 4V 2V adapter as I didnít need them with the aluminum heads.

I also replaced the Header bolts with ARP studs while I had it apart:

After all of this it was still running like crap. So I did a leak test on the exhaust and every weld on the exhaust leaked creating havoc on the EFI. Besides that from the muffler back was about 10 pieces welded up and Iím a little pickier that this. My neighbor was friends with the exhaust guy so I didnít even go back to him, I went somewhere else and had them rip it out and redo itÖ.. Itís all good now

Smile for the camera Sweetie

I got tired of trying to slow fill the 20 gal aux tank I had made for the bed

So I decided to redneck up a dual tank setup with a new 32 gal stock tank as the main

I put the main tank pump on a toggle so it can be shut off when using the aux tank

Used a 3-way marine valve that accomodates the return lines

Mounted to a plate that tucks up above the sliders and is acessed beside the driver's
seat like the eb's

It worked out pretty well giving me a 50+ gal capacity. Jaz cap above stock

Back on October 17 @sackman9975 Got Married and was down here on a honeymoon in Sedona Arizona, near 1 of my favorite trails. You may have read about his shoutout but we got a few members from here together to take him and his beautiful Bride out on a trail run. We took them to Broken arrow and we all had a blast … here are a few pics and videos from that trip:

Here is a video of me going up the staircase that I chickened out on the first time there (no lockers then)

And the only scary situation we had there that day
