Thank you!

Thank you so much for your words @96bronco . You really have been a fantastic competitor and have been keeping us all on our toes. Your stories not only of endless upgrades but also about trails and family have been very entertaining and proves post by post your undeniable passion for your Bronco.

Thank you @thequietman for the time you put into this because like @96bronco said so well, it takes a lot of time and energy in posting something new every day and you still tried. I am sorry that life got in the way, I would have loved reading more stories from you. Your messages of support off the thread are also greatly appreciated, and that just proves what an amazing person you are.

I am sort of new in the forum, I have only been here for about 2 years, and for me this is not only my first time following a FOTM but also being nominated. I feel like a rookie. I did not know what it meant when it all started, I just did it for the fun and now I want to follow each FOTM! Thank you so much @1985 Bronco for nominating me and thank you ALL for your support and votes.

I really want to keep it simple and tell you how you have all inspired me. Your passion for your Broncos and your support of one another just shows how important a personís relationship with their cars and trucks can be.

Thank you!

Bronco Brotherhood

Tied Eh?

What a great month.
Two different rigs
Two different eras
Two different parts of the country
Two different approaches to FOTM competition
I could go on and on.

All I can say is that I donít know what else I could have done this month.

I went ďAll INĒ

-Unbridled enthusiasm!
-ENTERTAINMENT
-55 posts, averaging 2.4 per day
-Shared 809 pictures and 14 videos
-34 Upgrades
-Went on as many trail runs and told as many stories as I could think of.

SO- itís all in your hands now and I donít envy you guys at all.

No matter how the vote ends, I had a great time and I feel like I accomplished my goal of entertaining you all. No winners, no losers here!

What I love most about this competition is that at the end of the day we are all still bound by the Bronco Brotherhood.

We put competition aside, appreciate each other rigs, recognize the effort put in and all agree that the Bronco is the only vehicle of choice!

Bronco Daughter?

While we are all waiting on the edge of our seats to see who has votes left to break the tie and which direction it will go, I thought of another funny story.

So as you know my son used the Bronco to get to and from High School. We all know he loves the Bronco.

The story I have not yet told is about my daughter. She also had the pleasure of driving the Bronco through her High School years. She, on the other hand, was not so thrilled with it.

"It's too big"

"It's too tall"

"I can't drive it."

She was very excited when we got her a car that was much more to her liking... sigh you can't have every kid turn out perfect.

LOL kidding she is amazing also

Fast Foward today. She is now dating a young man who ironically was in my son's scout troop (yes he's an Eagle Scout too).

They never really knew each other in High School, but he tells us that my daughter was well known among the boys as

"The Girl with the Cool Bronco"

She rolls her eyes whenever we joke about this..

He comes from a strong Bronco heritage as well. His Dad owned one while were in scouts and he bought a mid-80s out of high school.

It's a small Bronco World

Hey, at least my son is proud of it

Turn the Radio Down!

Ok, Ok Forgive me, I just can't stop telling Bronco stories. I still have a few hours left.

Random, but my son likes driving on top of stuff, wonder where he gets that from?

Telling you about my daughter reminded me of the brake story I wanted to tell. We were sitting home one evening. This was back in my daughters High School days and she still had the PLEASURE of driving the Bronco.

She proceeds to tell me:
"Hey Dad, I have been hearing weird noises for a couple of days but I just turned the radio up and ignored it."

Today it was so loud I couldn't drown it out. Wow is there this squeal coming from somewhere in the back.

I get the Bronco in the garage and find this:

Metal still stops you right? right?

This is not really my daughter's fault. I take full responsibility. She's not mechanically inclined like her brother and I should have been paying closer attention. I did give her a little talking to about ignoring noises in vehicles.

Parts! Parts, everywhere I see parts!

How I knocked this chunk out of the drum I am not sure?
Too many rocky, rutted back roads I guess.

Both sides going at once:

So embarassed but old vs new

Drums all set up. new stuff all around. Including a new spring kit.

Pretty, for about 30 seconds until the rust sets in..lol

Tick- tock, tick-tock = more time to tell stories

Off into the Sunset

Barring a last-minute Hail Mary votes my way, it looks like board may have selected it's the winner.

As I said this morning great run this month and thanks for the opportunity to entertain you all.

I'm posting up now because I am taking tomorrow off. I'm packing up the Bronco and heading to the high country for some ice climbing.

Awesome show this month gents! At the beginning, I was thinking it wouldn't be much of a show, with only three rigs - boy was I wrong! Great job on all the awesome upgrades, trail pics and vids, and stories! Congrats to @HCodi on the buzzer-beater win!

@96bronco and @thequietman - great job!
