you're listening to all the little bumps in the night at your shop, and not to ME???

I had said the 90* fitting crazed used and that caliper should be fine.

What gets me everytime is when I'm grinding or welding late at night all alone, lost in my own thoughts. I stop and turn around and someone is standing there watching me! I'l never get used to that.

How can you be alone, if someone is standing there watching you?

Great job, keep it coming.

Come for a visit and find out on what your missing.

Anyway just a few pics, found a place that had the russell fittings for the calipers and the lines are on order.

Got the axles in.

very nice, what's the plan with the lower coil pad? It's not painted all purdy, so I'd guess you're still fiddling with fitment? Looks like you've been rotating it? put a wedge under it yet?

Your good! they don't fit flat so I'm going to make a shim to level them out, and the left side the holes don't line up so I have to take the die grinder and lenghten one of the holes. Oh and one of them was bent - I bought them off of "ESC" after he totaled his 79 bronco, must of got bent when he rolled it. I heated it up and pounded it flat again.

Ok I installed fluid in the front diff tonight! Figure I might as well test the seals and just one less thing to remember before driving it.

I finnally finished off the cage shock mounts, I made a 1/2 spacer to go in between the frame and the cage mount. I'll weld them up this weekend and will slide the diff into place.

The lower spring pads are prone to bending, you should weld a plate on the bottom of the pads to reinforce them.

He mentioned making a shim, so that should cover it. you are likely right though, I've seen some used lower coil cups....not good. I went and spent money on new not trusting them.

bossind, one more item, you're going to use the superflex coils right? Take a long look at your clearance with the stock upper coil tower and the bolts, especially that driver side bolt front lower. On the JBG's (which have less clearance) I had to use round heads. I have an SAS thread on these clearance bolts if you search.

Hey Bossind...hate to be a doosh, but could you give me some dimensions on that nifty trans crossmember of yours?

I want to make a solid model and whip up a 3-view drawing of some ideas I got running round in my head. I will likely have some time at work in the next few weeks...might get started on building me something with some scrap pipe/tubing etc. that we have laying around here.

Thanks!
