Good luck boys, I'll be rooting for ya. Likely too early in the year and crowded for me but looking forward to pics/reports. Its my hope that everyone who voted will show up. There is a lot of interest. As history has proven here, time moves fast so get to wrenching or you'll be watching on YouTube before you know it.

Helllp,,,,
Has anybody "Locked In" yet for Arrival & Lodging??

Pulling my hair out trying to cover this base.
(Wayyyy To Many Variables)

I am thinking me & Missus will arrive on Sunday the 28th or Monday the 29th for a fresh start on the "Invasion".
(Tuesday the 30th).

Later,
Dragon

It's likely too early for everyone and too many variables.

I think our best bet is to book a large group site for xx date through yy date. This way we can all wheel, drink, wrench, and B.S. together. We can then divide the cost by zzz number of users and get reimbursed (kind of a risk for the person who makes initial payment). People can then be on their own to make accommodations for dates before and after the group setting.

Does that make sense? Does this sound like a good plan?

^^^ this sounds perfect to me.

I have been preoccupied with a trip to CO on Friday so I haven't had time to even look at camping in Moab. We are camping at 11,300 feet for 5 days, and there are no fees, no reservations, and no designated spots. Hiking in a mile to a lake. I can only assume most of Moab is gonna be the exact opposite since its so heavily visited.

Man, I go backpacking for a few days and miss 3 pages.

This is rounding up to be a really cool trip.

Out of curiosity, how many here have been to Moab before?

I just booked a cabin at Arkveiw campground to arrive on Tuesday the 30th. If I leave Saturday that gives 4 days to get there. I’m planning on stopping in CO to visit some friends along the way.
If I get there earlier I’ll figure something out, but I’m in no rush.

I might show up...

It's a big 50 for my wife and friends that want a Hawaii trip or cruise in 2019.
But if I am open this week, I will be there, reservations or not.
Any issues if maybe a Toyota Tacoma tags along? I do not have a winch...he does. lol Support vehicle.
I come from WA State, and nothing like watching a 'Pride' of Jeeps roll by our campsite, look at my FSB and my buddies Tacomas, and look surprised as 'F' we are even there. So, I have a few creases from JEEP width trails....cut to their specifications...whatever (need a chainsaw). It's not the terrain...it's the trees! Bronco turn radius makes up for a lot in narrow tight turns.
I am really hoping this works out for me.

Welcome Aboard @dmetze ,

I'll get you right onto the "Confirmed Interest" List in the Data / Info only thread.

Personally I have No issue if you bring a toyota driving friend
If they have No issues with being "Surrounded" by a Very Large Herd of Broncos.

Also, There is another PNW Chapter Member coming from Biose, Idaho,,,, @AbandonedBronco
Maybe you guys could Meetup & Convoy to Moab too.
(for Additional "Road Support")

Anyway,
Please do a "Quote Reply" to post #115 on page 5 with your info ok. (It really helps with organizing)

Thanks for joining in on this "Great Adventure"

Later,
Dragon

I'd be okay with a taco joining. Though many of us have a winch and will be more than happy to help recover you if need be.

Did I miss someone else saying they're from Boise too?

I know Pepe mentioned tying in from the Washington.
