Central PA Transmission Shop

Hey everyone,

Been forever since I logged in here. Bought an M1102 trailer and towed it with the Bronco. While in reverse going up my steep driveway, it decided to puke out all the transmission fluid. Looks like the front seal blew out.

Anyone have recommendations for a shop to do a transmission rebuild? Its got 145k on it, so I'm hesitant on just replacing the front seal/pump. Or do you think an XP1 E4OD or monster transmission would be better?

$1595/ comes with 3yr warranty: https://spprecision.com/products/e4o...-for-sale.html
$1495/ 90 day warranty: E4OD Transmission Heavy Duty Gas 4WD, E4OD 4x4, E4OD 4WD, E4OD Truck Transmission, Ford E4OD Transmission

A local shop quoted me $1900 for a rebuild, another shop said $2600.

Kulp's Transmission out in the Sunbury area, built the trans in my diesel. Full build (upgraded converter, planetaries, etc) maybe 6ish years ago, still works great even with all the power im putting down.

That said, the front seal is pretty easy to do once the trans is out.
