1994 Bronco Sport

I guess I never really did a build tread on my 1994 Bronco. It's a little late to try and remember what all I've done to it, but here's some info and pictures anyway.

Bought it about 5 years a go. It had a bad motor and also needed a transmission. It' only had two Little rust spots in the tailgate. Rust of the truck was dent and rust free.

Here's a day I had it towed to my house

Installed a used 1997 F250 5.8L with 120k on it. While I was at it I replaced the oil pump, water pump, spark plugs, wire, distributor cap and rotor, and all new belts and hoses. From there I drove it to the body shop to get it painted. Here's a picture when I picked it up.

Once I got it back home I decided to make my truck a XLT model instead of a Sport with all the red stuff on it. So I replaced all the door handles, new bumpers, new grill, new lights and lights surrounds, new XLT emblems, and new door locks, and new taillights. and new mirrors.

I had to trim and shim the front bumper to clean the 33's

Added a rear seat from a the 3rd row from a 2001 Suburban because it had headrest and shoulder belt. Had to rise the floor up about 3/4" so the Suburban seat brackets would work properly. Did this using 3/4" plywood and then sealing it up good with stick on rolled roofing so the wood wouldn't get wet.

Then I installed all new black carpet.

Installed a roll bar I bought on ebay. Had to remove the rear side panels so It would fit in the truck better. Made some new panels out of 1/2" ply and covered them in black carpet.

As time went on I ended up wanting to lift the truck. Went with a 4" Rough Country lift and added JBG 1700 lb rear springs instead of the 4" rear block that came with the lift.

Christmas rolled around and 4 Wheel parts was running a sale on tires. Bought some 35x12.50 BFG M/T's and some 15x10" Procomp Street lock wheels. Removed all the little gold bolts on the wheels and replaced them with stainless bolts.

Put some tie downs on the roof to use with an over head hoist in my garage when removing my top. Also bought a Rampage black canvas top for it.

Took my Bronco back into the 90's.
Removed the black fender flares and blacked out tail lights.
Removed the black tailgate panel.
Removed the black wheels

Went back to 15x10 polished wheels, white letter tires, put factory chrome wheel well trim on it and a new polished tailgate panel. Looks like a 1994 Bronco again! Think I'm going to keep it this way now.

FWIW I think it looks much better now! Nicely done. What kind of rear bumper is that you ended up with?

Rough Country/ProComp 6" suspension lift, extended radius arms, 33" BFG's, Mile Marker hubs

I bought it on eBay. They're custom build for F250, but I did a little work to it to fit my Bronco. Sellers name is affordableoffroad

What did the front center console come out of?......How hard was it to make it bolt in? Truck is really nice! I like all the improvements - good choices.

That's a f150 front seat with fold down center jump seat. Bolts right in.
